Melinder Jhittay

Mindy trained with BWB from 2008 and joined the Dispute Resolution team on qualification in September 2010.

Qualifications and experience
• BA (Hons) in History (First Class Honours) - University of Durham, 2006
• Graduate Diploma in Law (Commendation) - University of Birmingham, 2007
• Legal Practice Course (Distinction) - College of Law, Birmingham, 2008
• Trainee Solicitor at Bates Wells and Braithwaite London LLP, 2008 – 2010
• Admitted as a solicitor in September 2010.

Practice Areas
Mindy advises a variety of clients including companies (directors and shareholders), regulatory bodies, SMEs, charities/not for profit organisations, trustees and private individuals. Her work involves a wide range of commercial contentious matters including:
• intellectual property disputes, including trade marks (applications, oppositions, infringement and licensing), domain names, copyright infringement and passing off

• Companies Act/shareholder and partnership disputes
• contested probate and legacy disputes
