The supplementary guidance is intended to help charities in these sub-sectors understand how the principles set out in the Commission’s general guidance on public benefit will be applied to them.

BWB will be examining these on behalf of clients and responding to the consultations. We will also be discussing them at the series of seminars on public benefit we have organised for clients. Please visit Free Public Benefit Seminars for details of the seminars and how to book. Please note that as the guidance for fee charging and education charities is being published later than expected (and after our seminars for fee charging and education charities were due to take place) we will be changing the dates of these seminars – our apologies if this causes you any inconvenience. If you have already booked to attend, we will contact you with the new dates.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Christine Rigby (c.rigby@bwbllp.com), or speak to your usual contact at BWB.
