Event Summary

Due to very high demand we are re-running this session, which first took place in April this year.

This extended (1.5 hour) seminar pulls together expertise from BWB’s charity, intellectual property, and commercial teams. It deals with different kinds of legal issues arising from your charity’s engagement with social media, including:

  • How to ensure a successful social media campaign doesn’t fall foul of the law (including how to safely use others’ IP online)
  • Protecting your brand and other IP in the social media sphere, including best practice in monitoring, and internet take down procedures
  • The murky world of interacting with your supporters (and detractors) online.

Who should attend

Anyone who is involved with social media content or campaigns, or deals with intellectual property in their working life, and wishes to learn more about the law in this area.
