Bates Wells Braithwaite’s (BWB) Head of Media Disputes Rupert Earle has been interviewed by Sky News concerning the decision by consumer affairs guru Martin Lewis to sue Facebook for defamation.

Speaking to Dermot Murnaghan, Rupert discussed the arguments likely to be made by both of the parties involved and emphasised that while ‘Mr Lewis has a case, it isn’t an open and shut case’.

During his appearance Rupert also covered the extent of legal protection for internet service providers which host content, and highlighted the legal challenges which face Mr Lewis’s suit.
