Bates Wells has been awarded an Exceptional Achievement Prize at this year’s Managing Partner’s Forum (MPF) Awards.
Bates Wells won the award for “Exceptional Achievement by a Management team”, in a category sponsored by the Harvard Business Review. The judges cited our decision to become a B Corp, the international benchmark to maximise positive environmental and ethical impact, as their reason for awarding us this prestigious prize. Bates Wells was also runner-up in the “Best Managed Firm” category.
Reflecting on the Awards, the Forum’s Chair Neville Eisenberg of BCLP said: “Now in their 17th year, our Management Excellence Awards, in partnership with Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times, uniquely provide leadership teams with independent evidence of their contribution to leadership & strategy; operational excellence; the client journey; and responsible business. Demonstrating this contribution puts our members at the heart of strategic conversations, and increases their personal influence and people’s trust in their plans, while strengthening the reputation of their firms to clients.”
