Mindy is an experienced, Senior Associate solicitor in Dispute Resolution, Counter-Fraud and Intellectual Property.

Mindy advises on a wide range of commercial contentious matters and specialises in:

  • prevention and cure of fraud
  • resolving disputes about branding, trade marks (applications, oppositions, infringement and licensing), passing off, domain names and copyright
  • resolving contract, tort and grant funding disputes
  • anti-discrimination and equality law.

Mindy advises charities and social enterprises, company directors and shareholders, regulatory bodies and private individuals.

  • Mediation of dispute regarding alleged misuse of confidential information and intellectual property infringement by a joint venture partner
  • Advising on recovery of funds raised fraudulently, in breach of trust and by infringement of the charity’s name and logo and advising on copyright implications of proposed fundraising campaign
  • Advising Awarding Organisations on enforcement of their copyright and trade mark rights in qualifications and logos
  • Advising on withholding and clawback of grant funding
  • Recovery of charitable funds paid ultra vires to a former trustee
  • Advising on anti-discrimination law in respect of an admission policy for an arts charity and on transgender equality for a youth charity
  • Advising on prevention and cure of insider and cyber fraud, including reporting serious incidents to the Charity Commission


  • Removal of images and text used fraudulently and in breach of copyright on a sham website
  • High Court claim for infringement of database rights under commercial licence
  • Negotiating protection of copyright for an artist under an art commission agreement
  • High Court claim for payment of commission due under sales agency agreement
  • High Court shareholder/partnership dispute
  • Contractual debt recovery for an SME in the film and entertainment industry
  • Presentation of creditors winding up petitions
  • Negotiated a significant redress award relating to financial product (IRHP) mis-selling
  • Obtaining Letters of Request for examination of UK witnesses for use in US proceedings
