Oliver is an Associate in the Charity & Social Enterprise department and specialises in charity, social enterprise, responsible business and impact investing.

Oliver is a member of the Impact Economy, Crowdfunding and Environment groups at BWB and acts as an advisor and secretary to the UK Crowdfunding Association.

  • Advising on the formation and registration of new charities and social enterprises, including CICs, co-operatives and community benefit societies
  • Advising on the structure and execution of financing for charities and social enterprises, including social impact bonds, community investment projects, and Social Investment Tax Relief

  • Advising on cross-jurisdictional issues for international charities, NGOs and government funded programmes, including strategies following the UK’s exit from the European Union
  • Acting on mergers between charities and not-for-profit organisations
  • Advising on grant agreements, contracts, collaboration and joint venture arrangements
